Laserjammer Blinder HP 905 Dual
Blinder offers the new Blinder HP905 compact laser jamming system. The new sensors are very small and are operated by extremely powerful laser diodes. The new sensors are easy to accommodate in the narrowest areas of the vehicle front and make assembly and integration into the vehicle front very easy. The new sensors are stronger than any previous model, with both high power LEDs and high power laser diodes integrated into the small sensors. The standard setup includes 2 sensors in the dual sensor system. If you drive a large SUV, you should purchase the Quad sensor version of the Blinder HP905 compact system with 4 sensors.
The new Blinder HP905 has a variable volume control and a new voice output as a warning, which identifies the type of laser gun or laser speed camera with which your vehicle is aimed. The alarm tones are now easier to identify, especially when the vehicle interior is noisy.
The Blinder HP905 compact can be operated in 3 modes: parking assist mode, receiver mode (simple laser detection, but w / o active interference) and defense mode (active interference mode to respond to received laser signals). You can switch between these operating modes with the remote selector switch. The software of the Blinder HP 905 can be updated. With a computer and the supplied USB cable, the CPU software can be updated in order to be prepared for the future in the case of newly introduced laser measurements. Updates are free and can be downloaded from the manufacturer's website.
A laser device emits an infrared beam at intervals for purposes of tempo measurement, which is reflected by the targeted vehicle. By recognizing these reflections on the individually emitted beams, the exact speed of the vehicle is now calculated. These calculations are therefore based on the clear assignment of light reflections. However, if additional light pulses occur in the same frequency range at the targeted target, the reflected beams cannot be clearly assigned and the speed cannot be calculated. The laser blinder emits multifrequency infrared light that is invisible to the eye. After a laser beam strikes the front of the vehicle, a large number of further light pulses are now reflected in the direction of the laser device in addition to the actual light reflection, so that no measurement can take place there. The two emitters are attached inconspicuously to the front part of the vehicle. Since two (or four in the quad set) emitter are used, the entire vehicle front, even the larger vehicles, is shielded. The exterior mirrors are also enclosed by the emitted light frequencies. The Blinder HP 905 dual sensibly emits the light frequencies continuously when the vehicle is in operation, because emitting the frequencies in response to a received laser signal may already be too late.
About speed measurements with radar ("speed trap")
The meter from the authorities can be installed in a vehicle or on a roadside tripod or fixed in a box. It controls the incoming traffic and is effective up to a distance of 40 m. The radar radiation hits the vehicle and is reflected. As the vehicle moves toward the meter, the frequency of the reflected radiation increases. The pace is calculated from this. If it is above the limit, a photo ("with flash") is triggered to capture license plates and drivers. The measured pace is shown in the photo. Radar measurements are used all over Europe, a real-time warning by a high-quality fixed radar detector is possible without any problems.
Speed measurements with single-sided sensor eso 3.0 ("light barrier")
In recent years, a new mobile measuring device has become popular, particularly in Germany: the so-called "single-sided sensor eso 3.0", which is sometimes referred to as light barrier measurement due to the previous generations. The measuring device eso 3.0 is distinctive due to its characteristic structure and can be easily recognized due to the large number of photos on the Internet. In principle, proven radar detectors and laser systems remain ineffective here since neither radar nor laser light waves are emitted by the measuring device. After no protection was possible for a long time, there is now a remedy in the form of the eso guard PRO, which is installed as a fixed installation solution on the license plate.
Speed measurements with follow-up video ("PROVIDA video car")
In a video tracking measurement, the measuring vehicle, which is often not recognizable as such, travels behind the car to be checked over a distance of at least 300 m. A video camera captures the monitored car, and a computer connected to the speedometer calculates the average speed on the track. There is a tolerance deduction of 5 km / h. This measurement method is used regularly on motorways in Germany, mostly it is vehicles of German brands of the middle and upper class. The warning and protection by radar detectors or laser interference is technically not possible. The Target Blueye does provide a warning based on TETRA technology (check your country whether TETRA is used in your country).
